Member Code of Conduct

• RDA is an independent non-profit organization whose sole mission is to help Russia realize its vast and largely untapped intellectual potential to the benefit of the Russian and World Information and Communications Technology business community.
• RDA is a membership organization and is built on the principles of respect among all its members and towards all outside individuals and organizations, mutual understanding, and aspirations to achieve our common goals. Thus every member is expected to conduct all his/her dealings preserving the highest ethical standards and in the manner of integrity and good faith.

Relationships with other Members:

• Relationships with fellow Members must be conducted in the positive and professional manner. We expect all the interaction to be mutually beneficial; no predatory or uncompetitive techniques will be tolerated.
• RDA will dedicate substantial effort to remain politically and financially independent and emphasize fairness in all its dealings, thus we expect our members to comply with these principles and help RDA fulfill its mission.

International relationships:

• One of RDA's key goals is to promote global cooperation; thus we expect our Members to contribute their efforts and resources to fulfillment of this goal. We reserve the right to approach our Members with various international initiatives and expect cooperation and understanding.
• RDA is NOT a political organization, thus we discourage any political activity, including, but not limited to lobbying and propaganda. RDA will also avoid any association with political organizations.

Property rights and confidentiality:

• RDA fully supports property rights and respects intellectual property, as one of the major drivers of the individual creativity and enterprise. Thus we expect our Members to completely ban the use of pirated software in their organizations and strongly discourage it elsewhere.
• We expect our Members to be respectful of data confidentiality and provider/client relations.
